“This hotel could be so much better”
The staff were friendly, but the WiFi was very poor, breakfast didn't start until 9.00, the menu was limited, the bedrooms were cold, and they didn't make the room up between nights.

The on‑site restaurant serves a superb menu of locally sourced meat, fish, and seafood, complemented by a selection of regional ales and whiskies. A 10‑minute drive brings guests to Gleneagles golf course, while Perth and Stirling lie 14 miles away.

I had a fantastic stay, with very friendly and welcoming staff, a lovely atmosphere, and a comfortable room. Everything felt warm and well looked after, so I would definitely return.

The inn was friendly and in a good location, very cosy, though a firmer bed and better WiFi would improve the experience.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly, yet the old metal‑framed windows caused severe condensation and the kettle had to be placed on the floor to reach a plug.
