Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Moncton

A nice hotel just 4 minutes from the airport. Breakfast was typical hotel fare with both hot and cold items, and the staff were friendly and professional. The waterslide added a fun little perk, though the pool felt a bit small but still refreshing.

Soundproofing isn’t great; if you’re on the floor above the pool where the ladder to the waterslide is, it feels like you’re sitting in the pool room—quite loud!

“Breakfast was top tier, everything else was less than average.”

The breakfast was top notch, and Annie at the breakfast counter truly deserves a raise. We stayed in a king suite directly above the pool, and the insulation was clearly budget‑cut: we could hear every conversation below and there was a strong musty smell. I opened the window to air it out, but the carpet was soaked under the air‑conditioning unit. Mold was present in the shower, and the electrical outlet where my daughter tried to plug in her phone was melted. The pool itself is very, very small; the kids liked the waterside, but it also needed repairs. It isn’t worth the money when cheaper options are available nearby.

“A great stay”

The hotel is wet‑cleaned, affordable, and easy to locate. Breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly. It’s a bit far from town, but that’s not a deal breaker.
