“Since we arrived late and left early, the accommodations were fine for what we needed.”

The staff were very friendly. They offered coffee and a snack in the morning. The rooms, however, were very outdated and plain.

“Red and dead.”

The view was nice. I noticed signs that might indicate a previous bed‑bug issue and showed it to housekeeping. When I asked the morning manager to come see, she just stayed at the front desk and seemed uninterested. I know what to look for because I’ve worked in pest control before.

The location was good and the staff were pleasant. The property needs a light remodel and the grounds could use a cleanup.

The spot is great, surrounded by nature and a lake. Paying extra for the lake view isn’t worth it because of road noise and humidity. The front rooms should be better. The beds are comfortable. The rooms aren’t clean enough—floors and the back of the bathroom door, for example. The restaurant is only open Thursdays to Sundays and the breakfast isn’t real. It would be a paradise if they hired a good cleaner or had a better supervisor.

The room was damp and had a musty smell. Both beds were terrible, with a sinkhole in the middle.
