We stay at this hotel whenever we visit London; it faces Hyde Park, is near bus lines and a tube station, 10 minutes on foot from Paddington station, and a nice pub nearby. The staff are friendly and smile. The bathroom is always outdated and could use a refresh, the floor creaks when you walk, and the carpet in rooms, hallways, and stairs is not great.

The central location is great, but the smell between rooms is awful and makes it hard to breathe.

We felt very comfortable at the Columbia. The hotel is older and appears renovated at different times, which gives it charm. The breakfast rooms are open during the day and also serve as the hotel bar. The room was large and very stylish. There are two elevators. Directly opposite the hotel is an entrance to Kensington Gardens.

The location and staff are good, but the room feels a bit cramped, the old kitchen floor mat is unpleasant, and the ventilation options are poor.

Our twin room was pretty long & even had a 3rd bed. The hotel is dated but was very clean and dead opposite Hyde park & Kensington Gardens 😊. Just think the TV’s volumes looking at as the room next doors tv was very loud and we could even hear other tv ‘s walking along to the lift. Apart from that all good
