The staff were friendly, but the interior design was disappointing.

The drive to Montafon is pleasant and the surrounding area is beautiful. The building itself feels very old; our double room had a fixed shower and a sink, while the toilet was on the hallway. The mattresses and the bed frame were too soft. As a dust‑allergy sufferer I had some trouble, although the place was otherwise clean. The long‑floor carpet was an issue, and the whole house smelled like pizza—more like a pizza box after the pizza was eaten. We paid 88 € without breakfast, which was definitely not proportional.

The view is fantastic and the location is great. The attached restaurant is wonderful, and the chef is very friendly. The room itself is plain and rather austere, not very welcoming, but I would still book it again because everything else—especially the view and the balcony—was so nice.

A small village inn with a few rooms, very friendly staff and incredibly delicious food.
