“bit disappointing”

The place looks great, the room was nice, and it’s a great starting point to visit the lighthouse and go on a hike. I did not receive the room number, so the self‑check‑in instructions weren’t helpful. I tried to call, but the number wasn’t reachable. The next day, people walked into my room because they didn’t know their number either. I didn’t feel comfortable at all – I could hear the music from the kitchen and dishes falling; the entrance door was hard to open, and it was disruptive, as my room was next to it and everybody was passing by. The breakfast wasn’t good – no fruit on the weekend, no brown bread; the coffee machine didn’t work all the time.

This was excellent value for money. The facilities were great, breakfast was good, and the kitchen lets you cook your own meals. The place was very clean and comfortable – would recommend.

“Very good value for money clean accommodation in the centre of Augusta town”

The whole place was spotlessly clean, even the shared bathroom. Guests can use the kitchen any time to cook a meal and help themselves to breakfast. Common areas are very cosy. We especially liked the outdoor seating areas and how close the accommodation is to the shops and cafés. The woman at reception was very forthcoming about a date change after booking, and we were allowed to choose from vacant rooms.

The unstaffed backpacker apartment isn’t a suite; the bathroom is on the first floor, the toilet on the second. The room was clean and warm, but the breakfast we paid for was just milk with cereal, so everyone still went to the bakery across the street.

“Very nice, having the free kitchen for use is a big help if you want to cook your own food.”

Clean, quiet, cozy, and the kitchen is free to use—nothing else to complain about.
