“It was pleasant”

The room was nice, clean, and the location was perfect for what we needed. The only gripe is that the tub didn’t drain well and filled up while you were showering; it slowly drained on its own after you finished.

Close to Metlife Stadium, the hot buffet breakfast was good. The staff were helpful and very polite, but the water didn’t get hot for the shower.

We went to the Karol G concert and stayed one night at their hotel. After the show, we dined nearby and arrived at the hotel around 2:00 a.m. Minutes after entering our room, an employee knocked on the door to complain about a supposed noise issue. They said someone had reported that we were making a scene from the elevator. That seemed very odd and implausible, since a guest in another room couldn’t know which room we were in just by hearing us in the elevator. We went down to reception to clear things up, because we had only been in the room for a few minutes and weren’t making noise. The employee who handled us was extremely hostile and rude. Instead of listening, they cut us off, saying “that’s the bedtime” and telling us to go to our room. Also, when I booked through their platform, I selected “vacation” travel, and the system explicitly told me in the terms that, because of that, we would be assigned a room next to people with hearing impairments (deaf‑mute). I have a screenshot proving this in case you need it. We find it a total disrespect that, under those supposed assignment conditions and while behaving appropriately, we received this harassment and bad treatment at night. I demand a review of what happened with that night’s staff and a clear explanation of the hotel’s criteria.
