The hotel is well‑located with a nice view, and it will be even better once the renovations finish. The construction work right in front of the hotel started early in the morning around 7 am and woke us up.

The view from the window was fantastic, but the room itself left a lot to be desired – it was dirty and right in the middle of a construction zone. The constant noise and mess really took the shine off an otherwise beautiful setting.

The scenery and the staff were both top‑notch, which made the stay enjoyable, but finding a place to park was a nightmare. If they could sort out the parking situation, it would be a solid pick.

“Falls short of a good hotel experience, but location -- mountains and meadows -- compensate”

The corner room and terrace offered breathtaking views of Mount Pilatus, and the dinner we had was truly excellent; breakfast was decent though the coffee from the machine was way too strong. Unfortunately, scaffolding and workers were visible from our window from early morning, there were no curtains for privacy, and we weren’t warned about the ongoing renovation.
