I drove up to this spot and it looked like any other coastal place until I walked to the beach side, where it was totally amazing. I live in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and I was blown away by how this place sits on the hill’s side. I woke up in the morning with my bedroom seeming to hover over the water. It was simple, not over‑the‑top, and extremely comfortable, spending nights on the veranda sipping wine with my girlfriend. What more could I ask for? Maybe a few more days? 🤷‍♂️ Thanks a lot, Sade. Hope to see you again soon. The quiet, the peace, the waves rolling off the rocks—one of the few times I’ve ever slept after returning from a few war zones.

The spot was great, the pool was cool, the bedroom AC worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. From the start we hit a bunch of snags, and the owner Sade tried to fix them but wasn’t truthful. I’d called her before arrival because of a recent hurricane, and she assured me “everything is perfect,” yet it was anything but. There was no sundeck as shown—though I now know it was wiped out two years ago, which was a major reason I chose this place. Water leaked from the ceiling onto the bed and kept dripping in the bathroom, and the light switches were taped over with plug‑in lamps as a makeshift fix. Hot water was missing, the bath plugs didn’t fit, and there was no washing machine unless you paid extra. We had to pay for a housekeeper even though we were told to keep the room tidy and empty bins on exit. Small annoyances piled up and ruined the trip.
