“I am been travelling for my business since last 40+ years. Never stayed in such low quality hotel even paying a star hot”

The location is terrible; if you’re driving you’ll regret booking here. I’ve used this app for years assuming it recommends decent, standard hotels, but I’m disappointed. I paid Rs. 6000 + tax, and the hotel staff were pathetic. There’s no restaurant, and it feels like a place that doesn’t understand basic hospitality.

We didn’t like anything; the location is awful, tucked inside a market with no decent food, and the pictures are fraudulent. They claimed we left a single hand towel behind, and after we left they called me to demand Rs. 500 for it, even though we didn’t find it in our luggage. They kept reminding us on WhatsApp to pay, which is unacceptable and makes this property unsuitable for guests in Cuttack.

“Clean, comfortable and modern facilities. Great staff!”

The Marwar is a newly opened hotel with comfortable, modern facilities and a very clean environment, and the staff are excellent. Receptionists Anil and Sabita are knowledgeable and helpful, arranging transport and pointing us toward food options, while Raju, Muna and Rya are also available to bring fresh water, towels, and give directions. The room came with a small refrigerator, tea‑making facilities, AC, a ceiling fan, a TV, and each guest receives one liter of water daily. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and I’d return next time I’m in Cuttack. The Wi‑Fi, however, was not very strong or secure, and the hotel does not operate a restaurant on site.

Everything was great except the location, and the lift was continuously out of service.
