“Fabulous location and hosts.”

The location was great, with eateries and a shuttle to the mountains just a 3‑minute walk away, and the private Onsen was superb after a day up the peaks. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, picking us up from the station in their shuttle bus, which was a real convenience. We would definitely return. The room felt a bit small for five of us, but that seems typical in Japan; otherwise everything else was fine.

The property was charming and the owners were wonderful. The location was ideal for catching shuttle buses and visiting Echo Land, and the onsens were fantastic. Nothing to add.

“Cosy stay with accomodating hosts is great location”

The onsen was excellent after a long day on the slopes. The room was warm and spacious enough for all of us, and we even cooked our own dinner one night because the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were absolutely lovely, helped with our luggage, and sent us back to the bus terminal on check‑out day. We enjoyed a drink by the fireplace in the dining room each evening, supporting the owners more than just buying convenience‑store snacks. It was a pleasure, and we can’t wait to return. The only drawback was that the mattresses on the bunks seemed to sink where you lay, so I could feel the base of the bed; it was more noticeable after sore legs from the slopes, but it wasn’t a deal‑breaker and we’ll definitely come back.
