We were warmly welcomed and absolutely thrilled with everything at this very special place; our room was lovely with a beautiful view over the small lake, which we walked around before our delicious evening meal, and we really wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return one day.

The place is charming, right in the heart of the countryside, and we were greeted with a warm welcome, free coffee, and cookies while we drank them in the beautiful garden; the room was very large with a balcony offering a stunning view, and the surrounding area is walkable with a small lake and forest trails. Breakfast was very nice, and the hotel has a lovely garden full of cozy corners. The only downside was that there was no mini‑fridge in the room, which is now a basic amenity in hotels, so we had to throw away items that needed refrigeration. Another issue was that when we came to pay at the front desk, the girls working there started whispering and laughing among themselves, which gave an uneasy feeling; it would be better if they behaved more professionally with guests.

The place was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly; the cabins and glamping shelters were fine, but there was no shelter outside, so you couldn’t bring your stuff out in bad weather. Breakfast was superb, featuring local ingredients, and overall it was a really good experience.

We had the place mostly to ourselves, which was obviously a bonus; breakfast was set up and very good in a cozy atmosphere.

A beautiful, rural place. The staff were extremely helpful, giving us transport and hiking tips, and the breakfast was very good.
