I stayed close to Borobudur, and the staff were friendly; they brought me a blanket when I asked for one. The owner’s son took me to a nice restaurant. The only downside was that the sink was missing.

The location was excellent.

The room was clean and decent, but the facilities didn’t meet my expectations: there was only one bedside table in the twin‑bed room, no washbasin, towels and bath kits weren’t ready at check‑in, and the outdoor prayer sound was too loud.

The place offered basic amenities at a very good price, and a driver was arranged to pick me up from Yogyakarta Airport. Both the driver and the hosts were welcoming and considerate. I did not appreciate the very loud call‑to‑prayer over speakers that seemed close to the guesthouse.
