The location was very rural and quiet, the place was clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about.

The bathtub was nice and big, and the lady was very nice.

The place felt a bit spooky; we were probably the only guests that night. The big old property might need a cash injection. There’s a big mountain dog called Peppa who is delightful, and the hostess is charming. The room was Spartan but clean and functional. The locality is a bit isolated, but a charming village is about a 15‑minute uphill walk away. We dined at a lovely restaurant in the disused railway station about 300 metres away. Nothing really went wrong.
