This is an excellent place to stay in Matera – it’s very modern, nice, and clean, with a great view of the canyon, and the staff were very helpful.

We had a great stay in Matera thanks to the lovely accommodation. The small hotel sits in a very good spot close to the old town, and our room offered a unique view of the Gravina Gorge. The rooms were decorated with great attention to detail, the furnishings were high‑quality, and the bed was very comfortable; everything was spotless. Breakfast was excellent and extensive, featuring local specialties, and the coffee was delicious. Arriving on a Sunday, we couldn’t find a public parking spot, so we used the hotel’s parking garage, which cost an extra 20 €, but the car was stored safely and securely. We’re grateful to the young team, especially for arranging the tour with Martulli Viaggi; the open‑top minibus tour at 6 p.m. in September let us experience Matera by night. There was nothing to complain about.
