Chic rooms feature free Wi-Fi, contemporary design, central heating, 26-inch plasma satellite TVs, work desks, and private bathrooms with hairdryers. The hotel is near several bars, restaurants, and shops, and offers tourist information, with the marina 20 minutes' walk away and beaches 5 km distant.

The bed and shower/toilet were very good, but a shutter was pulled down over the window and could not be raised, so there was no view and the window couldn't open wide; in this hot country the room became very stuffy. The only electrical socket was high up on top of the wardrobe where the TV sits, so I had to stand on a chair to reach it; there was just one socket in the room. The check‑in procedure was horrendous: three different Wi‑Fi usernames and passwords were listed on the unmanned entrance downstairs, none of which worked. I called to check in and asked for my passport details. It took me literally 30 seconds to unzip my bag and get my passport, by which time they had ended the call and blocked me. Luckily the girl in the shop next door phoned them back for me on her phone.

The beds were comfortable and the staff were helpful.

The only good thing was the location; the hotel was old, the bathroom was quite old with many damp stains.
