I spotted the Old Hotel because it’s close to the motorway, only a 20‑minute walk to the town centre and square, and it’s dog‑friendly. The building feels a bit dated but still has its charms, making it a good spot for overnight transit. The bedroom, however, is outdated and sits next to the outdoor bar area, so it was very noisy until late at night.

We stopped several times because of the road’s proximity and finally booked a room. It’s easy to find and they offer parking. The place felt very authentic, comfortable, the bar service and menu were excellent, and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel was very dog‑friendly, with no restrictions for dogs. The food and breakfast were good. I was able to change rooms without discussion because of a bad smell in the original room. The AC didn’t cool well, and there was no toilet brush.
