The historic building feels very quaint, but there are hardly any electric outlets; I wish they had added more with surge protectors.

It was very close to the main attraction and the beach, but I was surprised by how clean and cozy it was.

Cherokee Lodge is superbly located on Coronado, we parked the car up & walked or biked everywhere. It's in a quiet road one road back from the main road, 5 mins walk to the beach, loads of coffee shops, restaurants to choose from, we even walked down to the ferry terminal to take a ferry to the midway. Great facilities, lovely outdoor space to sit & enjoy breakfast/drinks. We parked for free on one of the surrounding roads. There are snacks available seemingly 24/7. It's really well looked after from gardens to cleaning. Don't hesitate to stay here. This property is wonderful, perhaps a little dated, the aircon was pretty noisy (luckily we were happy to sleep without it on). The shower was a little on the small side, but considering the price paid, this is an awesome property. If you want to stay slap bang in the middle of Coronado on a budget, this place is brilliant
