Domaine Du Val De Cèze is a hotel situated near Bagnols-sur-Cèze's centre, between Pont du Gard and Ardeche Gorges. Avignon is a 20-minute drive away. The location was perfect and quite easy to find. The check‑in was simple, perfect and pleasant. There were no extra pillows available (I didn’t request them), but the room met its purpose.

The booking process was flawless, the welcome warm, human, perfect. The park was magnificent, soothing, each tree had a story to tell if you listened. Breakfast was magical on an outdoor terrace surrounded by bird songs. A superb off‑season stay I highly recommend. If something doesn’t please you, you’re just a difficult client! Grumpy, sour, skip this place – it’s poetic, inspiring.

The floors were dirty, the paint peeled, the complaints were ripped and very damaged, the bed mattress was completely flat, the pool was closed, the key didn’t work well in the lock, … overall disappointing.

The hotel was easily accessible and well situated. The room was comfortable, well equipped and had air‑conditioning, which made the stay pleasant. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant served dishes well, made with quality ingredients, though the prices were a bit high. The breakfast had a somewhat limited selection but was fine and helped start the day well. On the downside, the room’s cleanliness wasn’t entirely satisfactory, with a few hairs on the floor when we arrived. Additionally, we couldn’t access the pool during our stay.
