Cabañas Compostela - Cabaña Bosque Encantado

I stayed in cabins where the windows couldn't be opened and the door lock was electric; if the power went out you couldn't leave alive, which felt like a mouse trap. A construction site with loud noise was right in front of the cabin, and the path to get there was a very narrow lane. The TV was tiny, hard to see from the sofa, and it even demanded a Google account to watch. Everything was odd and unpleasant. The owner, named Pablo, was rude and refused to solve any issue, so we ended up canceling the booking and chose another place.

The host was very friendly and attentive to everything, and the photos matched exactly what you see.

The location is close to Santiago, and even though there was no one physically present to attend us, they were very attentive via phone and WhatsApp, resolving everything we asked for. Outside, I was a bit disappointed—expected something nicer and more cared for. The only downside of the cabin was the very uncomfortable sofa.

The location was far from the center, but we knew that ahead of time. It’s a quiet spot near nature, yet a playground and a good restaurant are within walking distance, and there’s a nice summer patio outside.
