“Beautiful location, cool quirky & historic charm”

The location beside a stream and park is beautiful, and it’s an easy 20‑minute walk into town along a wooded trail or sidewalk; the history is fascinating, the staff are friendly, the place is clean, and it has quirky, unique charm. Still, while we appreciated the charm of the old original cabin‑like room, the tub/shower was pretty funky and a little awkward to use.

“We had a great time spending our 45th anniversary at the Foot of the Mountain! Loved the location.”

The place felt snug and the spot was fantastic, with the staff going out of their way to help. Everything else was fine.

“Decent stay with a great location”

The location was good, but the walls were very thin—could hear neighbors with a dog. The room was clean yet had a strong cleaning product odor. Interaction with staff was minimal and not very cheerful.

The room was cozy, and the staff were friendly and communicative. The breakfast room was very cute, and the location was great. The bathroom needed an update and had cobwebs.
