The view of the river was nice, the room was clean, and the staff were attentive.

We loved how pretty the hotel was and got a room with a balcony overlooking the Maas; breakfast was fine and the staff were extremely friendly. Arcen itself is a charming little town and makes a great base for scenic bike rides, though the toilet was an open‑plan design.

A pleasant hotel with a nice restaurant – the burger was delicious and after our wedding we found a sweet little surprise waiting in our room. The staff were on the ball and acted immediately, which deserves a big compliment.

The room looked great and was clean, and the air‑conditioning worked well, but there was no door on the toilet.
