“Horrible experience from booking.com”
Got here after 8 long hours on the train from NYC & no one in the location/actual address. Got frustrated, contacted the host who said that the booking was canceled bcos the boat is not in the water.meanwhile l neva got any email from booking or host about cancelation. Frustration sets in a it was getting dark & no where to spend the night, UNBELIEVABLE. Someone with a Sweden telephone called & said they ll compensate only for the pple online to be given me run around to get a receipt of where l spent the night & upload which l did amd booking turned around to say get a transcript or something.will a hotel give more than a receipt?
