The hotel was conveniently located for access to all the tourist attractions in Cape Town and the peninsula; the staff were highly attentive and polite, and the food never disappointed at both the main restaurant and the bistro, making it a must‑stay when visiting Cape Town. There was nothing that we could dislike as everything was done to perfection.

“Ein Hotel zum wohlfühlen und entspannen”

The hotel sits in a beautiful spot with a stunning view of the mountains, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained. We ran into a hiccup with our first room, but the staff handled it smoothly and promptly, which is exactly what makes a five‑star hotel feel like a five‑star hotel for us: attentive service and quick fixes when something isn’t perfect. We felt very comfortable and would gladly recommend the place.

Everything was renovated and beautiful, while still maintaining the original Cape look; service was great and the breakfast was very good too, and everything was very clean. The only negative was that our room smelled like paint, the only downside of freshly renovated rooms.

Our stay was exceptional; the detail afforded by the hotel staff is of a high standard, breakfast is first class, walking around the estate is very calming, and it is a wonderful place to unwind, eat well, sleep well, and feel spoilt. Our stay was for one night only, and in this regard, it was perfect, nothing fell short of our expectations.
