The location was good, staff courteous, and the AC could be set to a comfortable coolness around 68 degrees at night—many hotels lock the thermostat around 74 degrees to cut electricity at the cost of guests' sleep, so kudos to Hampton Inn! The beds were fine. However, the property shows signs of age and needs repairs: the upholstered chair was so worn and dirty I couldn't sit in it, the fiberglass step‑in tub was thin and made a cracking sound with each step, was slippery and really needs a rubber mat—at 73 I had to hold onto the support bar to avoid slipping. A family of heel‑walkers in the room above us were noisy and woke us early, but earplugs helped a bit.
