The dorm shuts its lights at 9 pm, and the women’s bath is cleared exactly at 9 pm too; even if you’re still brushing your teeth a bit, the staff will force you in, act impatient, and speak rudely—terrifying. The room’s soundproofing is poor, and you can hear the neighbors clearly.

“Très bien”

The Japanese style and calm vibe were great, and everything you need, including the onsen, is there. The reception was a bit abrupt and not always available.

“Nice little local hotel .”

The room was roomy, and the hotel’s distance from the slopes made it very peaceful. Hot water flasks on the lobby and second floor made it easy to whip up cup noodles, and the owner’s PA system announces breakfast and dinner times daily. However, the property was far from the gondola and a slight uphill walk each morning made it inconvenient.
