We really liked the hotel room. Unfortunately, the wellness area is very old.

A well‑arranged room with plenty of closet space. The lake is a short walk away, and the breakfast and dinner options are good. Even the house wine was well chosen, and the summer card activities were enjoyable. The quiet room only offers a view of the lovely garden, but also shows a busy road and the opposite coastal street. Cleaning is only every other day, perhaps to save staff costs or to be eco‑friendly – something we’ve never seen before.

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Dorfhotel Kaltenhauser and were truly delighted in every way! The hotel feels warm and lovingly designed, making us comfortable right from the start. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful – just fantastic! The Hohen Tauern Summer Card activities were a real highlight, letting us experience so much around the area and discover something beautiful each day. We’d return anytime and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel! 10/10 for us.
