“Great view, great food, good staff. Very old hotel”

The staff were great, the food was great, and the location and view were good. The hotel is very old, the carpet is extremely dirty, and there’s a consistent smell throughout all floors. Everything was broken. My son cut his toe badly on a plastic cover inside the kids pool, ruining the rest of his stay; he couldn’t use the facility again. It’s only just healed… we’re on the next leg of our holiday a week and a half later.

The hotel is excellent, but there are no nearby facilities like a supermarket or café; everything is inside the hotel. They have a spy who enters and leaves by the side with a flashlight, meaning you pay a lot and nobody can visit you? I've never seen a hotel like this worldwide except the Egyptians who take money. If you tell them you’re taking a room, they’ll say you’re not allowed to visit or be visited, haha!

The staff are kind and attentive. The rooms are from the 80s with 40‑year‑old carpet that won’t clean even at 90 degrees. The quality‑price ratio is not adequate at all. We arrived and were put in a room with single beds coupled together; the room has no adjustable thermostat, only on/off; a door was missing a screw and had trouble opening; the Hilton name was only the sign and staff, everything else was lost.
