Parking was on site, but the whole place smelled heavily of cigarette smoke all the time.

The spot was cool, within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and not too far from Yankee Stadium, but the hallways had a strong smell of smoked marijuana that even seeped into the bedroom. It felt like someone had been smoking there before we arrived. When I asked at the front desk whether smoking was allowed, the employee said you could smoke in the bathroom as long as you close the door, which was shocking because smoking isn’t permitted in public buildings in New York State. I didn’t book a smoking hotel, so this was crazy. My asthma flared up so badly that I asked for a room change; the staff eventually moved us to a first‑floor room that was a bit better but still carried stale smoke residue. I didn’t sleep well at all. We paid $350 for one night plus an extra $50 for early check‑in, so the experience was horrible and the smoke smell unbearable. On top of that we only received one washcloth and two towels. When I asked the housekeeper—who was already in the hallway doing room service for another guest—he brought me a washcloth within a few minutes but acted like I was asking for diamonds, insisting he see my face and ID before handing it over. The room was very dingy, and the trapdoor that leads to the plumbing under the bathroom sink kept popping open, exposing parts behind the wall that made me think of mice or rats climbing out at night. I kept trying to close it, and eventually I just put the garbage can in front of it to keep it shut. The tub was also very dingy. We were ready to leave, and I’m glad we only stayed one night.

It was close to Yankee Stadium, but it wasn't really clean.

Check‑in was easy and the building was quiet, but wash‑clothes were missing, the towel quality was poor, and the soap dispensers didn’t work.
