“Relax in clima familiare”

I stayed at the property right in the heart of the countryside, where the view of the fields at sunset and sunrise is simply breathtaking. The owners were incredibly kind and made us feel at home, welcoming us with excellent coffee that tasted just like in Italy and a local palinka. You can book a great savory or sweet breakfast, or even dinner, directly at the hotel, and if you want to dine at the restaurant they’ll help you reserve a table. A 20‑minute drive takes you to the Cheile Turzii canyon for a family‑friendly walk that lasts about an hour, and you can even walk there if you wish. The same spot also offers options for a via ferrata or rock climbing, with a guide or solo.

The building itself is beautiful, spacious, and has large terraces with a view of the commune and the Chei. It might benefit from more flowers, and the dining room could use a renovation. We were surprised that the guesthouse doesn’t serve meals for tourists—though that might have been just this time—and the bathroom drainage is not good.
