The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a very quiet location. Breakfast was tasty. The room was directly under the roof with a tiny skylight, so there was no view of the surroundings and little light. In summer it will certainly get very hot up there. The Wi‑Fi was very poor.

It’s my second short‑term stay here, and the location is dream‑like. The rustic house with its red roof is well furnished, the mattresses are good, and the breakfast is unique; the staff are very friendly and helpful. This isn’t my last visit.

“Absoluut geen €150 per nacht waard – nooit meer”

I had a terrible time at Landhaus Großes Meer. Parking was a nightmare: the free spots were always full, so I barely found a place for my car. The bed was less than a meter long and the pillow was awful—sleep was impossible. Wi‑Fi was either terrible or nonexistent. The room lacked a fridge, ventilation, and air conditioning, making it very uncomfortable. The shower was tiny; I kept bumping into the tap, and the water could suddenly become scorching hot, which felt unsafe. Noise was a problem too; the rooms were so echoey that I could hear everything from other guests. For about €150 a night, I paid a high price for what felt like a cheap budget room. We left on Saturday afternoon, even though we had booked until Sunday morning. Landhaus Großes Meer is overpriced and not recommended; I’ll never return.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was rich and plentiful. They handled my requests right away. The room itself was small; a larger wardrobe and more storage would have been nice.
