“Decent stopover just off M6”

I was a bit tired when I arrived, but the room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast at Hungry Horse was great value, though it didn't start until 9 am. Overall, it was okay.

“IF YOU'RE THINKING OF STAYING HERE - DON'T!”

I checked in and out in under 20 minutes, but the experience was terrible. The duvet and carpet were blood‑stained, the bath was brown‑stained, and liquid stains covered the floor, chair, and sofa bed. The dehumidifier was present, the windowsill was dirty, the place smelled bad, and the bathroom made noise when the light was on.

“Poor, decor and furnishings standards need a lot to be desired.”

The room lacked a chair and only had one bedside table. The decor was poor, the shower was subpar, and the couch had stains everywhere.

“Clean, basic and welcoming value for money”

The value for money was solid, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. My room was very close to reception, which was especially useful since I was a lone female traveler.
