I booked for the day I wanted to arrive, but when I got there, I found out there was a mistake and I'd booked for the next month. The woman was kind and gave me a room anyway, but she asked for cash payment like it was a discount, which I only realized after paying her. I couldn't cancel through the booking platform, so I essentially paid twice, but there was no one to talk to. She just refused to return even a part of the money.

The owner pulled out a 2-foot long sword and chased us off, and things only got worse from there. He started pushing and punching me, and my friend intervened, but the owner retaliated with brass knuckles, knocking out his top three front teeth.
