The location is beautiful, with a seaview in front and mountains behind; breakfast was very generous with cereals, bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, tea, and coffee, plus plenty of snacks like crisps, sweets, and biscuits; the room was comfortable and well equipped with towels, toiletries, a hairdryer, an iron, a board, extra blankets, and pillows. The patio was a bit shabby, the decking needed painting, the patio table and chairs were rusty with peeling paint, and the pots required deadheading and repotting, giving a poor first impression at the entrance, but inside the place was immaculate and well kept.

I met Kieran, who was incredibly kind and cheerful, and he even took us to see his baby cows 😍 The apartment was stunning, spotless, and the sheets and towels had a pleasant scent. Sleeping on the bed felt like lying on a cloud, and the views were gorgeous. We brought our own BBQ and a camping gas stove to cook on the small balcony deck, or we could just walk to the nearby Chinese and fish‑and‑chips shop. It was the ideal secluded escape. 💕 Thanks, Kieran, we’ll return!

The property was fantastic, laid out beautifully, impeccably clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The deck offered a tranquil, scenic view. The host was delightful, easy to chat with, and full of local tips. The fridge was stocked with essentials, plus cereals, croissants, bread, snacks, and fruit—unexpected extras that felt like a warm welcome from old friends. I highly recommend this place; it deserves five stars.

After a pleasant walk in the Mourne Mountains, this place was perfect for unwinding. The room offered a great view, plenty of space, and a lovely deck. Cooking in the small kitchenette was convenient, and breakfast was fully supplied. We’d gladly return!
