The staff were friendly, the location convenient, the bed comfortable, and everything was clean and pleasant – we’re very satisfied with our stay.

There were no breakfasts, which is a shame, but the room had everything needed to prepare your own meals; overall a nice impression.

A great spot with a fascinating location (old barracks), very atmospheric. The staff were friendly and helpful, the kitchen was open to all, rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

Don’t be fooled by the name – the standard is definitely ABOVE a shelter. It’s clean, pleasant, in a superb location, and you won’t find anything better nearby. I recommend it 100%.
