The restaurant food was good, the breakfast buffet was very generous, and the staff were friendly. The room cleanliness was lacking: mold in the shower, dust and dirt throughout the room, dirty cutlery and dishes at breakfast, and worn‑out furnishings like sagging beds.
Everything was fine.
The breakfast was excellent.
We were mostly satisfied with a few things: the room was clean, the staff we interacted with were friendly, and the breakfast was fine and tasty. However, two major negatives stand out. First, the digital self‑check‑in at the hotel was very impersonal—after parking, we checked in at a kiosk and went straight to our room, which felt unwelcoming and lacked classic hospitality. We had questions about local sights and activities, but there was no one to ask since no one greeted us in person. Second, the location of our room was disappointing: we chose the hotel based on its online images, building, and overall appearance, but our room was actually in a different building on the opposite side of the street, with a completely different style. This didn’t match the impression we had from the booking, and under those circumstances we could have booked a nearby pension for about half the price and felt we were in a different place than the hotel we had selected.
