“Beautiful sea-view villa with friendly staff and excellent service, but some areas could use better maintenance and more”
Overall the staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful, attending to any request for water or towels; Fee was outstanding, the golf cart driver Bai did a great job, and receptionists Porpia and Alisha were excellent. The hotel overlooks the sea and has a nice location, with a golf cart that shuttles you to the beach, restaurant, spa and gym and back, plus a mobile phone in the villa you can use to call for the cart. The beach and a 7‑Eleven are near the cart’s drop‑off point. Breakfast was decent, the avocado sandwich was superb, and the food is confirmed halal. The villa is spacious, two‑storey: the lower floor holds a kitchen, lounge, laundry room and pool, with washing machine, dryer and detergent provided, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cutlery and soap. The upper floor contains three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom; the master suite faces the sea, featuring a balcony and jacuzzi. Check‑in was quick and they accept cash or dollar deposits. On the downside, the pool isn’t fully private because neighboring villas can see in, the villa needs some maintenance and updating, the single beds in the second and third rooms are very small, and although the hotel sits on the sea, there’s no beach directly in front due to rocky terrain, requiring a golf‑cart ride to the nearest beach. Breakfast isn’t a buffet but a fixed menu, and coffee options are limited to Americano—no drip or V60.
