I couldn't judge the service because it was fully booked on the night of my departure; I felt lied to when I was rebooked the night before due to renovation work, and at the reception I learned the hotel was still open.

The bed was comfortable and the curtains gave good privacy; the staff were very friendly, the building was cool and attached to a café, and it sits right next to Chinatown. Free breakfast and cool wristbands for room and locker access were a plus, but the showers were in wet rooms with toilets that had frosted glass that was quite revealing, and a mirror opposite them made it even more visible—just a bit odd, maybe a window film could help.

The location was nice and I spent most of my time in Chinatown; the staff and vibe were also nice. However, Chic Capsule Otel was under renovation and I was notified a couple of days before that my stay had been switched to Bohemian, which also needs renovation; my personal TV didn’t work and there was mold on the shower booths.
