“We had an excellent 5 nights at Riad Flam and Spa and the staff were exceptional!”
Riad Flam was fabulous! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful: various breads, fresh fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cakes, orange juice, mint tea, and more. We dined there one night and it was also delicious and plentiful – you’ll never go hungry at Riad Flam and Spa. The location was out of the medina’s bustle but close enough to be “in the thick of things” within a 7‑minute walk. The narrow alleys, shops, aromas, chatter, motorbikes, children playing, enthusiastic traders, and more were all within a short stroll. Our room was on the ground floor (as requested) and very spacious… thanks for meeting our request and attending to our needs. Plenty of wardrobe space for clothes, shoes, etc., and our suitcases fit in too! The air‑conditioning was much needed and welcomed. The Riad itself was at the end of a typical derb (alleyway) and initially felt intimidating, but we were reassured it was very safe – and it was. I must mention the staff who were absolutely fantastic: their service, attendance, charm, sense of humour, diligence, efficiency, and calmness were outstanding. A special shout‑out to Issam, Hussain, and Najla, who started at the front desk two days after we arrived. Najla was on point and you wouldn’t have known she was new. Good luck Najla, we wish you well! All the staff we met were superb. Thank you, team Riad Flam and Spa! We did find our room quite dark even with the lights on, but it’s mainly due to the typical riad design – a small issue we got used to.
