Breakfast is a buffet on the other side of the street at Kastiel Lucivna, and the rooms there are clean. The staff is very pleasant and courteous, though the room lacks an electric kettle. The village of Łuczywna is off the main tourist trail, which keeps it very peaceful—a real advantage for us. Note that arrival times are fixed because the receptionist must come in specifically to check guests in and hand out keys; the front desk is not open 24/7.

The food is good, with a standard Swedish‑style breakfast. Meals are served in the building across the street from the inn. Parking at Strbske Pleso is 10‑12 minutes by car, and Stary Smokówiec is about 20 minutes away. There is no 24‑hour front desk.

Nice and quiet place to spend some days and go for trips around. The breakfast is nice and delicious, but I missed a hair dryer.

“Kastiel Lucivna, urokliwe miejsce.”

The place was spotless, the staff were attentive, and the location was convenient, but the room needed a little touch‑up – there were cracks in the wall and ceiling and it could use a fresh coat of paint.
