I found one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in across Southeast Asia – clean, bright, and white, and great value for the price. It’s in a remote spot, but we knew that when we booked – it’s 10 minutes from the airport.

We actually enjoyed using the hotel's dishes, but that's about where the positives end. Our room wasn't cleaned once in 14 days, despite our requests. We had to do our own cleaning, and the pool was out of the question because of the strong chlorine smell. We wanted to cancel our stay, but there was no free cancellation, so we were stuck. Without a motorbike, there's nothing to do here - everything is far away, including the beach and shops.

For the price, this hotel is a great value, and it's a bonus that they allow pets. The rooms are bright and spotless. However, the location is a bit of a drawback - it's a 20-minute walk to the beach and 25 minutes to restaurants.
