“Un ambiente caratteristico vicino al centro”
The house is tidy and clean, the double bed is very comfortable (hard to find elsewhere), and it’s close to the city center, just a few minutes on foot; I chose it because it’s near relatives’ homes, so we didn’t use the kitchen, just rested. It’s only a stone’s throw from the bakery that makes excellent focaccia. The setting is distinctive with a stone vaulted ceiling and a nice large shower (just missing a shower rod, which I’d suggest the owner install). The owner is helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely return when I go back to Terlizzi. Oh, and the Netflix subscription already active on the smart TV was a big hit with my two kids. The downside is the tiny smart‑home system that opens a small window at the top depending on outside temperature; when the outside air is cooler, the window opens and the air conditioner shuts off. This mainly happens at night and the electric mechanism wakes us up several times, so I had to close the window manually and turn the AC back on. In this case, just ventilating through the window wasn’t enough to cool the room for four people, especially with this year’s high temperatures. Other than that, we were fine.
