I was asked repeatedly if I was ready to settle in, the bed was made of brick and the mattress collapsed, causing back pain; I requested a smoking room because it was listed as allowed, yet it was prohibited, and there was no outlet in the room.
The staff were great, but the room looked old and the bed was small.

I enjoyed the breakfast that was included, and everyone who worked there was friendly and polite; the environment matched the photos, the place was clean and cozy, and it’s next to the São José bus station, which I loved, so I’ll come back again.
