The staff were not on site, which was disappointing.

I was happy dealing with the staff even though the check‑in was slow, and there was a shop open until 2 am right in front of the hotel.

The hotel sits close to Bandar Pasir Mas and Rantau Panjang, making it easy to find tasty food nearby, but the Raya traffic is always jammed.

The hotel's location is great, right on the main road, making it easy to find. However, the surrounding area is a bit of a mess, and there's no front desk staff, so you have to call to check in. It's a shame, because the location is really convenient.
