“Oké, maar niet erg comfortabel”

The bathroom was fine, but the room faced the busy terrace so no window could be opened and the noise was excessive; the topper was loose on the mattress and kept shifting; it was annoying that the lamps in the hallway and bathroom turned on automatically, so when I had to get up at night my partner woke up to the light; ventilation was poor.

“Superbe hôtel qui vaut son prix, mais chambres trop chaudes.”

Check‑in was perfect, the facilities were good including a bike garage, breakfast was tasty and service flawless, and the pre‑arrival email was spot on; the room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom, but the bed and bedding were far too hot, partly offset by a kind of air conditioning that made a terrible low‑frequency noise; the management offered rubber earplugs to mitigate the sound, but they were unsuitable, the discomfort was significant and it conflicted with my breathing device; over three nights we only managed to sleep a little on the last one, which is a shame for a hotel.

The kitchen was closed, so after the kebab shop there was nowhere to eat.

The rooms were nice and spacious, and the breakfast was good.

The location was superb and the room (H2) was very spacious and well maintained; there was a small issue with the code, but the owner was very responsive and helped us out; we recommend it.
