Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Minneapolis

The hotel’s location was great and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired: the towels provided were dirty, and when I asked for a replacement, the new towel also had a hair on it.

“Hotel was mid, drive up the street and stay at the hilton instead.”

The skyway to the parking lot was frequently locked, so we had to walk down to the first floor of the parking structure to reach the hotel lobby.

“The perfect hotel for a luxury getaway.”

We would possibly come to Minneapolis just to stay in this hotel. The service was professional but, more impressive, was that ALL of the staff exhibited such a wonderful, welcoming vibe it made us feel at home. Beautiful room and common areas, perfect location, great bar & food service right next to the reception desk, and amazing staff–just what one would want traveling away from home. The only disappointment, and it was truly surprising how awful it was since all else was wonderful: the Masa & Agave food and bar. Of the 4 of us, none of us enjoyed it–and it wasn't the waitress' fault as she was attentive and professional–but the drinks were horrible and the food, except for some nachos, below par
