The building had been freshly renovated, every detail polished and the furnishings high quality; we shared a communal bathroom, but that didn’t bother me much. The place was shared with just one other room, and there was even an outdoor area to dine. The breakfast lounge was open for guests, though we didn’t use it; it offered a coffee, hot water, a fridge, a freezer, and a microwave, plus plates and cutlery for any homemade meal I bought outside. It’s located in the center of this small village, which still has a well-stocked supermarket, a tobacco shop, and a bar.

The house was in excellent condition, everything looked brand‑new and the décor was lovely. The host, Roberto, was consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel almost at home.
