Everything was fine, but there was still a problem.

They’ve made many improvements, adding modern furnishings; the bar, restaurant, and live music were nice, and breakfast was plentiful, tasty, with well‑prepared eggs, potatoes, pancakes, and sausage—better than many other hotels—but the parking lot feels a bit seedy and is full of large puddles that never dry.

The breakfast offered a good variety, but the rooms felt a bit cramped.
