When we arrived, the donkey and the dog Yuki greeted us warmly; the lake nearby turns the place into a peaceful haven, and you can ask for seconds at breakfast after the manager has served you and you’ve finished your plate, which helps avoid food waste. Just remember to bring mosquito repellent for the lakeside and any other water areas.

It’s an ideal spot for relaxing and for an evening stroll by the lake, and being welcomed by a lovely donkey and a beautiful dog makes everything even nicer. The only thing I missed was a small fridge in the room to keep a few drinks cool in the heat.
