We booked Xenia Guest house for three nights and chatted with host Maria beforehand so we could drop our bags early before check‑in. Maria was very helpful throughout, offering useful local tips. We stayed in a double room that was perfect for a short visit and very comfortable. The communal area was great for making coffee or grabbing water, and the location let us walk around Rome with ease. Nothing to complain about.
The room was comfortable, with a great bed and enough space for clothes. The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful.
Great location for a city trip, plenty of communication and useful tips. The mattresses were unfortunately too soft and/or sagging.
The place is super close to Trastevere and the Jewish quarter, a quiet area that’s easy to get to. The room is tiny; there’s no space for luggage and the shower is very small. The space feels cramped compared to the photos.
“If I was to return to Rome, I would stay at Xenia again. Highly recommend it. Thanks Maria for everything you did for us”
Everything was spot‑on: the property was clean, the room quite spacious, and there was a communal area with tables, chairs, a water dispenser and a coffee machine where my family and I sometimes ate together. Maria was the most helpful and accommodating host we’ve met, doing everything she could to make our Rome stay great. Nothing was lacking, even the building’s entrance was beautiful.
